Embedded Software Dev Engineer, Kuiper Customer Terminal Software

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious initiative to revolutionize global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). As an Embedded Software Dev Engineer on the Kuiper Customer Terminal Software team, you'll be at the forefront of developing software that connects customers to this groundbreaking satellite network.

The role involves designing and implementing embedded software for customer terminal devices, working with both applications and underlying Linux systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, product, and operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your responsibilities will span the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $129,300 to $223,600, depending on location and experience, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. The role requires strong expertise in embedded systems, real-time software development, and Linux/RTOS. You'll be writing code in languages like C, C++, Rust, and assembly, while also troubleshooting using schematics and logic analyzers.
