This role presents a unique opportunity to join the Customer Terminal Software Team, where you'll be at the forefront of developing embedded software for devices that connect customers to the Kuiper network.

As an Embedded Software Dev Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing critical software components that power the customer terminal devices. You'll work with cutting-edge technology in satellite communications, utilizing your expertise in embedded systems, real-time operating systems, and low-level programming languages like C, C++, and Rust.

The position offers an exciting blend of technical challenges, from bare-metal programming to Linux-based system development. You'll be part of a collaborative environment, working closely with hardware, product, and operations teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This is more than just a software development role – it's an opportunity to contribute to closing the digital divide by bringing fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide. You'll be working on products that will be deployed at scale, making a real impact on global connectivity.

The compensation package is highly competitive, ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 based on location, plus additional benefits including equity, sign-on bonuses, and comprehensive medical coverage. The position offers significant growth potential within Amazon's innovative space technology division.

Join us in this groundbreaking initiative where you'll be part of a team that's literally building the future of global communications.
