Embedded Software Engineer, Kuiper MAC Software Development

Project Kuiper is an ambitious initiative by Amazon to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites aimed at providing high-speed broadband connectivity to underserved communities worldwide. As an Embedded Software Engineer on the Kuiper MAC Software Development team, you'll be at the forefront of designing and implementing embedded software for consumer electronic products at scale.

The role involves working with cutting-edge technology in satellite communications, where you'll develop embedded software for terrestrial devices within the Project Kuiper system. You'll be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, working with various programming languages including assembly, C, C++, and Rust.

Working in a collaborative environment, you'll interact with teams both inside and outside Amazon, contributing to the development of reliable embedded software for large-quantity consumer electronic products. The position requires expertise in Linux and RTOS, along with strong skills in embedded software troubleshooting techniques.

The Kuiper Team focuses on creating devices that connect customers to the Kuiper network, providing software for both applications and the underlying Linux system. You'll work closely with hardware, product, and operations teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
