Firmware Embedded Engineer, MPSW

Project Kuiper is an innovative initiative by Amazon to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities worldwide. As a Firmware Embedded Engineer in the Kuiper MAC-SW team, you'll be responsible for developing embedded firmware code for ground networks, customer terminals, and satellites.

The role involves working in a cross-functional environment to define multi-dimensional performance requirements, make optimization trade-offs, and build component test cases. You'll be programming in a real-time embedded environment, working with RTOS and bare-metal systems, while following software/firmware best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and testing complete Kuiper-MAC firmware
• Defining and documenting firmware-hardware interfaces
• Performance optimization and debugging in embedded environments
• Contributing to service definitions and functionality delivery

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 per year based on geographic location, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
