Front-End Engineer-II (Level 5), Business Data Technologies

Amazon's eCommerce Foundation (eCF) Business Data Technologies (BDT) group is seeking a Front-End Engineer-II to join their team. This role sits within a crucial organization responsible for core components driving Amazon's website and customer experience, handling millions of daily customer interactions.

The BDT team is building an enterprise-wide Big Data Marketplace using AWS technologies, working closely with teams like EMR/Spark, Redshift, Athena, and S3. They're developing innovative products including next-generation data catalog, discovery engine, and transformation platform with state-of-the-art user experience.

As a Front-End Engineer, you'll be hands-on in designing and building UI components used across SDO teams. The role combines technical excellence with leadership, requiring expertise in front-end development, scaling design, and parallelization. You'll drive strategic UI feature development from design through deployment, mentor peers, and work with cross-disciplinary teams to bring innovative products to market.

The position offers the opportunity to work on challenging problems at Amazon's scale, where development cycles are measured in weeks, not years. You'll be part of the Data Comprehension team, leading product and front-end initiatives by partnering with various stakeholders.
