Responsibilities For Global Security Operations Center Business Intelligence Engineer, Amazon Corporate Security, Business Assurance Center
- Develop data visualizations & dashboard designs
- Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to design and implement ETL pipelines
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers and analysts
- Dive deep into varied data sources to understand relationships between metrics
- Use statistical models with large, multidimensional datasets
- Identify and recommend opportunities to automate processes
- Perform ad hoc analysis to solve time-sensitive operational issues
Requirements For Global Security Operations Center Business Intelligence Engineer, Amazon Corporate Security, Business Assurance Center
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
