Description For M365 - IT Application Dev Engineer, Kuiper Production Operations

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious low Earth orbit satellite broadband network initiative, designed to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities worldwide. As an M365 IT Application Dev Engineer in the Kuiper Production Operations team, you'll play a crucial role in configuring, deploying, and managing M365 productivity services that enable collaboration through secure, reliable, and highly-available services.

The position requires expertise in M365 engineering, focusing on designing and implementing productivity applications using Infrastructure as Code. You'll work with various M365 services including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive, and Voice, ensuring their reliable operation in a GCC High Environment. The role combines systems engineering, security compliance, and automation to support Kuiper Manufacturing and Government Solutions.

Working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, you'll join daily standups, participate in operations reviews, and have dedicated engineering time for development and support tasks.   • Design and implement Productivity application in Kuiper environments using Infrastructure as Code
  • Identify, research, recommend, and implement Microsoft 365 services
  • Serve as the administrator for M365 services
  • Enforce compliance with principals including least privilege access
  • Drive 3rd party secure collaboration efforts
  • Partner with Amazon security organizations
  • Create and implement automated processes
  • Develop monitoring and reporting systems
  • Develop and maintain documentation
