Join Amazon's Generative AI team that's revolutionizing software development practices at scale. This role is part of an ambitious initiative to pioneer AI development practices that will transform how Amazon builds software. As a Machine Learning Engineer II in the StoreGen team, you'll be working on next-generation development tools and practices leveraging AI-powered automation and intelligent code generation.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Applied Scientists to establish benchmark datasets, developing and maintaining key platforms for LLM-based agents, and implementing responsive web interfaces. You'll be working extensively with AWS services like Bedrock, Sagemaker, Lambda, Kendra, and OpenSearch.

The role requires strong expertise in machine learning model lifecycle, software development, and system architecture. You'll need at least 3 years of professional software development experience and 2 years of system design experience. Knowledge of LLMs and agentic workflows is essential.

This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $129,300 to $223,600 based on location and experience, plus additional benefits including medical coverage and financial benefits.
