AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Network Development Engineer to join their Enterprise Networking team, focusing on mission-critical global connectivity. This role combines network engineering with automation to support one of the world's largest networks, serving 1,000,000+ internal users. The position involves working with cutting-edge network architectures and developing innovative solutions for complex challenges at scale.

The role is part of the Backbone, Enterprise, and Regional Engineering (BERE) organization, responsible for designing and operating AWS's global network infrastructure. This network grows by 70% annually and connects all AWS Regions and edge locations. You'll work with a diverse team of engineers to ensure network reliability, scalability, and performance.

Key responsibilities include implementing network changes, developing automation tools, leading network projects, and providing critical support for large-scale networking events. You'll work with various technologies including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and multiple vendor platforms. The role requires both technical expertise and collaborative skills, working closely with Network/Systems/Software Engineering teams.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $127,400 to $212,800 based on location, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
