Responsibilities For Network Development Engineer, GCNA

  • Provide critical on-shift network operations support to Amazon.com customers
  • Support and maintain next generation networks
  • Deliver simple, sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes
  • Partner with Technical Operations organization to reduce operational burden
  • Work with Network Engineering & Deployment teams for operational readiness
  • Drive standards across the network and ensure compliance
  • Participate in large-scale event impact mitigation
  • Drive event deep dives and deliver documentation
  • Improve detection mechanisms by designing new alerts
  • Identify and troubleshoot recurring platform issues
  • Create and review documentation and processes
  • Troubleshoot interconnectivity issues

Requirements For Network Development Engineer, GCNA

  • 1+ years of experience in a large-scale network operations environment
  • Excellent IP fundamentals and extensive experience in the application and troubleshooting of IP
  • Scripting experience in any language (python, shell etc.)
