Description For Network Development Engineer I, HPC Fabrics, Product Engineering

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Network Development Engineer I to join their Network Fabric Engineering (NFE) team. This role is crucial in building, deploying, and scaling Amazon's networks that support AWS, customers, and other business units across multiple global datacenters. The position focuses on Core Networking, responsible for building Data Centers and the network infrastructure that enables efficient Data Center operations.

As a Network Development Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of deploying network infrastructure across all network fabrics supporting Amazon Retail Service, Kindle, Payments, and multiple AWS services. You'll work on creating simple, sustainable deployment processes that increase both velocity and quality while ensuring network stability and sustainability of next-generation IP networks.

The role requires strong expertise in TCP/IP networking, IP routing, and core technologies. You'll be responsible for managing customer relationships during problem resolution, efficiently planning and safely deploying network infrastructure, and participating in a 24x7 team on-call rotation.
