AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Network Development Engineer to join their Backbone Enterprise and Regional Engineering (BERE) team within the Global Connectivity and Network Availability (GCNA) Organization. This role is crucial in maintaining and evolving one of the world's largest networks that grows by 70% annually.

The position combines network engineering expertise with systems operations to deliver scalable solutions for AWS's global infrastructure. You'll be responsible for the design, implementation, and operations of networking infrastructure that provides connectivity between AWS Regions and edge locations. This includes working with cutting-edge technology and solving complex challenges at an unprecedented scale.

As a Network Development Engineer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement next-generation platforms and tooling ecosystems. Your work will directly impact millions of AWS customers by ensuring network stability, performance, and reliability. The role involves creating automated solutions for network builds, configuration deployment, and capacity scaling.

Key responsibilities include managing critical network infrastructure, troubleshooting complex networking issues, and developing innovative solutions for network automation.
