Network Development Engineer, MONA

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Network Development Engineer to join their Network Fabric Engineering (NFE) team. This role is crucial in building, deploying, and scaling Amazon networks that support AWS across multiple global datacenters. The position combines network and Unix systems engineering to deliver simple, sustainable solutions for next-generation IP networks.

The role involves working with cutting-edge networking technology, from Top of Rack to Network Border systems. You'll be responsible for implementing network changes, collaborating with automation teams, and leading various network projects. Key areas include network sustaining engineering, deployment, scaling, and optimization.

As part of AWS Core Networking, you'll focus on building and maintaining Data Centers and their interconnecting networks. The team balances efficiency, performance, and reliability to ensure customers have seamless access to their applications and data. You'll work closely with Network/Systems/Software Engineering teams to ensure smooth roll-out of new designs and products.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $102,700 to $185,000 per year based on geographic location, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
