AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Network Development Engineer to join their Network Fabric Engineering (NFE) team. This role is crucial in building, deploying, and scaling Amazon networks that support AWS across multiple global datacenters. The position combines network and Unix systems engineering to deliver simple, sustainable, and repeatable solutions.

The role involves working with cutting-edge network technologies, from Top of Rack to Network Border, supporting AWS's next-generation IP networks. You'll be part of a team that owns datacenter network services providing unconstrained connectivity to major AWS services like EC2, EBS, S3, and Amazon CDO Services.

As a Network Development Engineer, you'll collaborate with network, systems, and software engineering teams to ensure smooth deployment of new designs and products. You'll be responsible for implementing network changes, working with automation teams, leading network projects, and providing critical support for large-scale networking events.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $102,700 to $185,000 based on location, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.   • Create and implement changes on the network
  • Work with automation teams in defining scaling tools
  • Lead network projects in sustaining engineering and implementation

  • Knowledge of network analysis fundamentals and troubleshooting skills
