Principal Security Engineer

Amazon is seeking a Principal Security Engineer to join their security organization as a visionary leader and hands-on builder. This role represents one of Amazon's most senior individual contributor positions, focusing on solving the company's most challenging security problems across diverse businesses - from AWS hardware to Kuiper satellites and Whole Foods endpoint protection.

As a Principal Security Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing and implementing security solutions that impact billions of users worldwide. The role combines strategic leadership with deep technical expertise, requiring you to architect complex security projects while driving the organization's security roadmap. You'll work across multiple security disciplines, including penetration testing, security operations, encryption, and identity and access management.

The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $146,600 to $218,100 based on location, plus equity, sign-on bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
