PS Support Engineer II, Security Integrations Group (SIG) Global Engineering Team (GET)

Join Amazon Worldwide Operations Security (WWOS) as a Support Engineer II in the Security Integrations Group (SIG), where you'll drive innovation and apply cutting-edge technologies to solve real-world security challenges. As part of the Global Engineering Team (GET), you'll maintain and optimize global infrastructure while spearheading automation initiatives. You'll work extensively with AWS services, including EC2 and CloudWatch, managing monthly patching cycles and coordinating annual system updates for Amazon's physical security infrastructure.

The role combines hands-on technical work with strategic thinking, requiring expertise in both Windows systems and cloud infrastructure. You'll develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Python, manage AWS infrastructure through Console and Ansible, and drive process improvements across the organization. SIG is a critical engineering team within WWOS, responsible for Amazon's global physical security systems. The team provides 24/7 customer support through engineering teams across AMER, APAC, and EMEA regions, ensuring continuous security coverage.
