Quality Assurance Engineer II, Alexa Smart Home

Join Amazon's Alexa Smart Home team, responsible for integrating smart home devices with Alexa and bringing homes to life! As a Quality Assurance Engineer II, you'll be part of the team that ensures seamless integration between Alexa and smart home devices. The role focuses on testing through various methods including manual testing, automation, and specialized tools.

You'll work with Software Development Engineers to understand features and technical implementations, while also collaborating with Product Management, User Experience Design, and Customer Support teams. This position is crucial in understanding customer usage models and developing test plans that approximate real-world environments.

The SHCC QA team specifically owns the Smart Home core GUI experience on the Alexa app and Multimodal devices. Working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you'll use black box, gray box, and white box testing techniques, understand software internals, debug problems using log files, and write automated tests.
