Description For Satellite Test Engineer, Integrated Vehicle Testing

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious initiative to launch a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO) to provide global broadband access. As a Satellite Test Engineer on the Integrated Vehicle Testing team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and readiness of satellites for launch. The position involves developing and executing test campaigns for fully integrated satellites, working with multiple engineering teams across ground and space systems, and optimizing test processes to support production plans. You'll be responsible for developing test infrastructure, leading test campaigns, and collaborating with various teams including avionics, payload, and software. The role requires expertise in automation, programming, and large-scale infrastructure deployment. This is a fast-paced environment where you'll work with thought leaders in multiple technology areas, constantly looking for ways to improve and innovate. Responsibilities For Satellite Test Engineer, Integrated Vehicle Testing

  • Develop, augment, and support integration and testing of components, from subsystems to the full spacecraft
