Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE 2) to join their newly formed Amazon MX Player team, following the merger with MX Player to accelerate premium free entertainment for 250 million users in India. The position involves developing best-in-class video discovery and viewing experiences across mobile and living room devices, building highly available and scalable applications that power entertainment experiences. As a technical lead, you'll mentor engineers on mobile engineering best practices while delivering next-generation experiences. The role requires close collaboration with product teams, architectural design, code reviews, and participation in planning exercises. You'll be working with some of Amazon's best engineers in a highly-rated team, pioneering new technology implementation at Amazon scale.
