The Last Mile team at Amazon is at the forefront of revolutionizing package delivery from stations to customers' doorsteps. As part of the Connected Vehicle team, you'll be instrumental in developing innovative solutions for a globally connected fleet of smart delivery vehicles, both traditional and electric. The role combines cutting-edge IoT technologies, real-time data streams, and machine learning to enhance delivery efficiency.

You'll work with vehicle sensors, embedded devices, wearables, and robotics, while handling various data streams including video, vehicle telematics, location, and presence information.   • Develop solutions to access and utilize existing array of sensors within current fleet of delivery vehicles
  • Design future fleet of delivery vehicles
  • Work with edge computing systems and cloud data analytic platforms
  • Develop user applications with UX optimization
  • Create data processing pipeline with connected devices
  • Build data analytic tooling with big-data

Requirements For SDE - Connected Vehicles, LMDA - Connected Vehicles

Python
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Experience with design patterns, reliability and scaling of systems
