Description For SDE II, Kuiper ACE

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious initiative to launch a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO) to provide global broadband access. As an SDE II on the Kuiper ACE team, you'll be at the forefront of developing cloud services that manage critical configuration for satellites and ground station antennas. The role involves working with cutting-edge space technology while focusing on building scalable, automated solutions.

The position requires strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to work with complex systems. You'll collaborate across teams spanning ground and space systems, making critical decisions that impact the mission's success. The team specifically builds and maintains software services responsible for managing Kuiper satellites, ground station antennas, and hardware asset inventory.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee due to export control laws
