Responsibilities For SDET II, Fire TV

  • Lead the design of new features and initiatives across the organization
  • Investigate, prototype, and deliver new and innovative software applications
  • Deliver high quality software through working in Agile/Scrum environment
  • Champion best practices for software automation and documentation
  • Drive key engineering and business decisions impacting Amazon's long-term vision
  • Programmatically test products and measure test coverage
  • Develop automation and drive testability into the product

Requirements For SDET II, Fire TV

Java
Python
Linux
  • 1+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience
  • Experience programming with Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4+ years of experience as a developer, QA Engineer, or as an SDET
  • 4+ years of experience in Java or C development, or white box testing
  • 4+ years of experience in C++, Python, Shell, or Java
