Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Security Engineer to join their Cloud Security Response team, where security is considered job zero. This role is crucial in protecting AWS Cloud services and operates on the AWS side of the Shared Responsibility Model to safeguard customers. The position combines tactical incident response with strategic thinking to drive automation and scalability improvements.

The AWS Cloud Response team operates globally with a follow-the-sun model across four geographical locations. As a Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for coordinating security response activities across all AWS products and services, working directly with service teams and other AWS Security engineers. The role requires both technical expertise and strong communication skills, as you'll need to manage security incidents while also driving long-term improvements.
