- Perform threat modeling for AWS distributed systems, focusing on AI/Gen AI systems
- Engage with customers to capture security expectations for AI/Gen AI systems
- Influence builders to implement better security practices
- Develop security automation tools
- Produce security guidance and documentation
- Conduct security reviews and penetration testing
- Implement security mechanisms for AWS Generative AI offerings
- Deliver and improve security metrics
Requirements For Security Engineer, AWS GenAI Security, AWS Gen AI Security
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information security, or similar technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in defensive security, threat modeling, and security review processes
- Minimum 3 years of experience with IAM, Security Engineering, Cryptography, Vulnerability Management, Supply Chain Security, Network security, or Penetration testing
- Expertise in distributed systems security
- Knowledge of fundamental cloud security concepts
