Security Engineer, AWS SOC

The Amazon Web Services Security Operations Center (AWS-SOC) Team is seeking a highly motivated Security Engineer to join their global security operations. This role is based in the LHR14, London SOC location.

As a Security Engineer in Detections, you'll be responsible for:

• Monitoring and analyzing security alerts from various sources to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time
• Developing, implementing, and fine-tuning detection rules and correlation logic
• Conducting in-depth investigations of security incidents and performing forensic analysis
• Maintaining and optimizing security information and event management systems
• Collaborating with other teams to enhance threat intelligence
