Description For Security Intelligence Engineer, Incident Response Threat Intelligence, ACTI

Amazon's Threat Intelligence for Global Enterprise Response (TIGER) team, part of Amazon Cyber Threat Intelligence (ACTI), is seeking a Security Intelligence Engineer to develop actionable intelligence on advanced cyber threats. This role combines technical expertise with threat analysis to protect Amazon's assets and employees.

As a Security Intelligence Engineer, you'll analyze indicators to generate actionable intelligence, enhance capabilities through new analytic techniques, and work across teams to drive supporting capabilities. The role requires deep understanding of cyber threat actors and TTPs, along with experience in networking, host-based indicators, and digital forensics.

  • Perform deep dive analysis of malicious artifacts
  • Analyze large and unstructured data sets to identify trends and anomalies
  • Create security techniques and automation for internal use
  • Contribute to Amazon's understanding of the current threat landscape
  • Draft and publish finished written threat intelligence products
  • Periodic on-call responsibilities

Requirements For Security Intelligence Engineer, Incident Response Threat Intelligence, ACTI

Linux
  • BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or similar degree, or 3+ years equivalent technology experience
  • 3 years experience with tracking high-sophistication cyber threat groups
  • 3 years experience across system security, network security, application security, and/or digital forensics
  • 2 years experience with SQL or other query languages
  • US Citizenship required
