Responsibilities For Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, DSP BI
- Build high quality data architecture and ETL data pipelines using SQL, Scripting and other ETL tools
- Retrieve and analyze data using Amazon's data technologies
- Design, build, and maintain automated reporting, dashboards, and ongoing analysis
- Report key insight trends using statistical rigor
- Work closely with business stakeholders to define analytics roadmap
- Manage and execute analytics solutions end-to-end
- Earn trust of customers and stakeholders
- Work with data engineering and software development teams
- Mentor junior BI engineers
Requirements For Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, DSP BI
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience in the data/BI space
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
