Join Amazon's Operations team as a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer focusing on long-term planning for the Consolidation/Units per Box (UPB) initiative. Responsibilities For Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, Long-term planning
- Design and develop tools to automate standardized processes
- Develop relationships with internal and external partner teams to enrich data collection
- Lead design, implementation, and delivery of large-scale data solutions
- Analyze historical data to identify trends and support decision making
- Improve existing methodologies by developing new data sources
- Conduct written and verbal presentations to share insights
- Collaborate with multiple teams and have cross-team impact
- Research and benchmark technology against competitors
- Actively mentor junior BIE colleagues
Requirements For Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, Long-term planning
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience in the data/BI space
