Responsibilities For Senior Cloud Application Architect, Public Sector Professional Services
- Help customers architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage AWS services
- Architect and develop customer applications to be cloud optimized
- Work as a technical leader alongside customer business, development and infrastructure teams
- Provide deep software development knowledge with respect to cloud architecture
- Advise and implement AWS best practices
- Work as both an infrastructure and application development specialist
- Implement DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration and automated deployment
Requirements For Senior Cloud Application Architect, Public Sector Professional Services
- 8+ years experience of large-scale software development or application engineering
- 5+ years Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- 2+ years experience in the design and provision of cloud technologies
- 2+ years experience with Canadian Federal and Provincial compliance and security standards
- Fluent in French and English
- Experience with revision control source code repositories
- Understanding of and experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA and REST)
