Senior Security Engineer, Amazon Photos

The role involves:

• Designing enterprise-scale security frameworks across iOS, Android, Fire TV, and Echo platforms
• Leading cross-organizational security initiatives
• Developing innovative automation approaches for protecting billions of daily interactions
• Creating security standards that balance protection with user experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive overall security strategy and roadmap
• Architect complex security solutions across multiple platforms
• Lead high-complexity security reviews and initiatives
• Establish security metrics and best practices
• Build relationships with DigiSec, AWS Security, and other Amazon security teams
• Drive security improvements affecting Amazon-wide mobile security
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring
• Manage risk and strategic security initiatives

The team is a focused, high-impact security group being built from ground up within Amazon Photos. You'll report directly to senior leadership with technical direction from a Principal Engineer, helping establish team culture and technical foundations.
