Senior Security Engineer, AWS Managed Services (AMS)

AWS Managed Services (AMS) is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their global, innovative & high-energy Security team. This role combines deep technical security expertise with hands-on operational responsibilities in cloud infrastructure protection.

The position involves leading security incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management across AWS services. You'll work with various teams to maintain and enhance AMS security posture, develop security documentation, and implement innovative solutions to protect cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

• Investigating and responding to security incidents
• Deploying and maintaining security guardrails
• Analyzing emerging threats and trends
• Collaborating with AWS teams on service security
• Developing security documentation and procedures
• Implementing security automation
• Mentoring junior team members
