Corporate Services Security (CPSS) is Amazon's dedicated security team aligned with Finance & Global Business Services, People eXperience & Technology, Legal, and Global Communications units. The role focuses on protecting Amazon's corporate services, systems, and data through proactive security measures. As a Senior Security Engineer, you'll be part of the Product Security Team supporting applications built on AWS Services.
The position combines technical security expertise with leadership responsibilities. Daily activities include code inspection, security framework development, and service design optimization. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical knowledge in application security while demonstrating strong communication and influence skills.

Responsibilities For Senior Security Engineer, Corporate Services Security, Corporate Services Security
- Create and maintain threat models for web applications hosted on cloud
- Perform manual and automated secure code review
- Develop security automation tools
- Conduct adversarial security analysis
- Provide security training and outreach for internal development teams
- Provide security architecture and design guidance
- Solve complex security problems independently
- Influence team's process and strategy using data
- Provide technical guidance to senior leaders
Requirements For Senior Security Engineer, Corporate Services Security, Corporate Services Security
- Minimum 8 years of web application security industry experience
- Experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, authentication, web application security, cryptography, penetration testing, cloud security
- Knowledge of security engineering and protocols
- Experience reading and writing in at least one programming language
- BS in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
- Experience building and securing complex AWS architecture (preferred)
- Experience securing Finance applications (preferred)
