Responsibilities For Senior Security Engineer, Devices, Devices and Services Security
- Ensure hardware based corporate solutions deployed across Amazon are secure
- Identify security flaws in various Amazon device products
- Guide Amazon businesses toward secure development of devices
- Propose, research and develop tools and techniques to improve security posture
- Provide technical security expertise and consultation to device product teams
- Identify security risks and work with product engineers to create mitigations
- Participate in projects that develop new intellectual property
Requirements For Senior Security Engineer, Devices, Devices and Services Security
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, cyber security, electrical engineering, systems engineering, or equivalent
- 6+ years of experience in converting vulnerabilities into real device level security attack
- Strong expertise in identifying issues by reviewing PCB/motherboard designs
- Knowledge of common interfaces and communication protocols (JTAG, PCIe, UART, USB, I2C, Bluetooth, WiFi)
- Knowledge of hardware security mechanisms, including secure boot, trusted execution environments
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
