Senior Security Engineer, Identity and Access Management, AWS Identity Security

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Identity and Governance teams are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their Identity Security team. This role combines deep security expertise with advanced software engineering to protect critical Identity and Governance services in the AWS cloud. You'll be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of security solutions that protect global infrastructure, products, and customer data.

The Identity Security team works directly with AWS Identity, Governance, and Infrastructure as Code services to enhance security throughout the service lifecycle. You'll collaborate with software engineers to prevent security issues during design and development phases, proactively identify potential threats, and respond to security incidents while implementing preventive measures.

As a Senior Security Engineer, you'll lead complex security initiatives, build automated testing frameworks, and implement scalable security solutions using languages like Java, Python, and Go. You'll provide technical mentorship, establish security best practices, and influence product roadmaps through security expertise.
