Senior Software Developer (12 month Fixed Term Contract), Global Operational Excellence

Global Operational Excellence (GOX) at Amazon is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. This role is crucial in developing Operational Excellence and driving Amazon's growth across the Supply Chain. The position involves working with Cross Dock and Fulfillment Center Operations, Transportation, Analytics, and other stakeholders.

As an OPS DEA Senior SDE, you'll be responsible for providing resources and expertise for statistical analysis and Machine Learning products, including frontend development. You'll work closely with Amazon Transportation Services, Amazon Logistics, and Global transportation services, requiring a deep understanding of product flow and distribution chain processes.

The EU OPS DEA team is known for creating solutions that significantly improve customer experience, with many of their developments becoming worldwide standards. You'll be exposed to various functions including Operations, Finance, Technology, and Change management. The role requires working with big data, building end-to-end solutions, and communicating findings effectively.

The Speed and Service Programs team, part of EU STEP, focuses on One-Day plus Speed, Delivery Estimate Accuracy, and On Road Delivery Service. This team champions delivery speed across EU5 and Expansion countries while enabling improved on-time performance through DEA programs.
