Senior Software Development Engineer, Digital Acceleration

Amazon is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join their Digital Discovery team within Digital Acceleration. This team plays a crucial role in helping customers discover ideal digital offerings from Amazon's vast marketplace of over 350 million products. The position involves building highly scalable multi-tenant services using AWS cloud, Java, and RESTful Web Services.

The Digital Acceleration division is responsible for powering ordering, subscriptions, and device management for major Amazon services including Prime, Amazon Video, Music, Audible, Alexa, and Kindle. They process billions of digital purchases annually and are focused on becoming earth's best provider of digital commerce.

As a Senior SDE, you'll be tasked with providing technical leadership and mentorship while contributing to the architecture and implementation of scalable services. The role offers exciting technical challenges and the opportunity to drive product vision. You'll be working on engineering internet-scale solutions that directly impact customer experience across multiple devices and touchpoints.

This position offers competitive compensation with a base salary range of $150,700 to $251,700 per year, plus additional benefits including equity and sign-on payments.
