Description For Senior Software Development Engineer, Project Kuiper

Project Kuiper is Amazon's ambitious low Earth orbit satellite broadband network initiative, aimed at delivering fast, reliable internet to customers and communities worldwide. The system is designed with capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve diverse customers from households to organizations.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer on the Project Kuiper team, you will play a crucial role in leading the design architecture and implementation of various enhancements and integrations for Kuiper's Siemens design and engineering manufacturing systems, including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of APIs, integrations, and micro-services for product lifecycle management systems
  • Develop custom user and automated workflow logic
  • Design and maintain data models and flows
  • Implement data governance and custom integrations with next-generation attribute-based controls
