Senior System Development Engineer, Hardware Engineering Services

AWS Utility Computing (UC) is seeking a Senior System Development Engineer to join their Hardware Engineering Services team. This role is part of AWS Outposts, a highly recognized hybrid cloud offering that brings AWS services on-premises. As a key member of the AWS Hardware team, you'll work with experts in compute, memory, and storage technologies to develop and deliver world-class cloud computing infrastructure.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work in a startup-like environment within Amazon, allowing for risk-taking and experimentation while building high-performance hardware for the world's largest cloud computing infrastructure. You'll be responsible for solving systemic issues, driving development changes, and building mechanisms to scale operations at the Edge.

Key responsibilities include leading Hardware Engineering System Development efforts, working with internal teams to ensure drive performance and reliability, building and managing deployment pipelines, and developing monitoring tools. You'll collaborate closely with Hardware Design Engineers and Software Engineers for complex issue resolution and participate in critical design decisions.
