Senior Systems Development Engineer, AWS EC2 Edge Frontier

AWS EC2 Edge Frontier is seeking a Senior Systems Development Engineer to join their innovative team focused on hybrid-edge cloud computing. This role is part of the AWS Outposts family, delivering AWS infrastructure and services to on-premises and edge locations. The position involves working with cutting-edge technology that enables AWS services, particularly EC2, to operate closer to customers' infrastructure outside traditional AWS Regions.

The ideal candidate will be part of the Frontier Core Engineering team, responsible for developing, provisioning, deploying, and operating core software and devices for Frontier and Snow devices. This is an opportunity to work on technology that supports various business initiatives including AWS Outposts, Wavelength, Local Zones, Telco, and Snow.

The role requires expertise in large-scale infrastructure design, modern programming languages, and Linux/Unix environments. You'll be working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where diving deep to solve complex challenges is encouraged. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $136,100 to $235,200 based on location, plus additional benefits including equity and sign-on payments.
