Software Dev Engineer 1, TESS

Amazon's Transportation Engineering Systems (TESS) team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to help build scalable solutions for their transportation network. This role focuses on developing software solutions to expand Amazon's supply chain network while optimizing configuration management efforts. TESS is responsible for building technology that enables Hand-Off-the-Wheel (HOTW) configuration management, improving configuration quality, and increasing deployment velocity across Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers, Amazon Air Gateways, and Delivery Stations.

As an SDE in TESS, you'll work at the intersection of business and systems, partnering closely with business leaders and engineers to build new configuration management solutions and expand software capabilities for the entire NA Transportation organization. The team manages transportation network configuration by collaborating with different internal stakeholders and systems to deliver desired business outcomes.
