AWS Data Platform is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on tackling some of the hardest scalability, performance, and distributed computing challenges in the world.

The team processes billions of line items via map reduce (EMR) and manages artifacts through advanced database technologies like DynamoDB and Redshift. They are building the next generation data portal for customers to ingest, explore, and manage their data and query workloads.

The AWS Data Platform team's mission is to help AWS become a more data-driven business. They serve as the backbone for measuring performance, identifying opportunities, and finding solutions. The team helps AWS teams identify impactful metrics, find drivers for success, and provide actionable insights to decision-makers.

As part of the Utility Computing (UC) organization, you'll support the development and management of foundational services like Amazon S3 and EC2, along with other innovative products across Compute, Database, Storage, IoT, Platform, and Productivity Apps services.
