Description For Software Dev Engineer II, AWS EC2 Edge Frontier

AWS EC2 Edge Frontier is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their team building hybrid-edge cloud services. This role is part of AWS Outposts, a family of fully managed solutions delivering AWS infrastructure and services to on-premises or edge locations. The position focuses on developing embedded software for networking, OS, file systems, and encryption, as well as testing and deploying software updates to Snow and Frontier devices.

The role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud technology that enables AWS services to operate closer to customers' infrastructure. You'll be part of the Frontier Core Engineering team, responsible for core software development on deployed Frontier and Snow devices. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be willing to tackle complex challenges, and have a strong focus on customer needs.
