As an SDE II, you'll be responsible for designing and developing both frontend UI and backend services that are transactional, scalable, and fault-tolerant. The role requires someone who can drive end-to-end solutions autonomously and creatively. You'll work within a small team of about 20 experienced Amazonians in Vancouver who tackle complex problems daily while maintaining a low on-call load.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical abilities in developing real-time scalable systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Daily responsibilities include leading investigations, architecting solutions, writing code, conducting reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
This position offers competitive compensation with a base salary range of $114,800 to $191,800 per year, plus additional benefits including equity and sign-on payments.
