Software Dev Engineer II, Relay Yard Automation

Amazon's Relay Yard Automation (RYA) team is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their logistics technology organization. This role is part of a 30-person team that develops and maintains critical software systems managing Amazon's complex logistics network, including fulfillment centers, sort centers, and delivery stations across North America, Europe, and Japan.

The RYA team's software handles crucial operations for Amazon's middle-mile logistics, processing over 50M vehicle arrivals/departures and 30M trailer operations annually. Their products include Sesame app, GEM, Relay Gate, Valet app, and Yard Inventory Manager (YIM), which are essential tools for managing yard operations, driver check-ins, trailer movements, and yard inventory.

As an SDE II, you'll be responsible for designing and developing scalable software solutions, writing high-quality code, and performing code reviews. You'll work closely with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver features that improve yard automation and safety. The role requires strong technical skills and the ability to innovate solutions that align with business objectives.

This position offers competitive compensation with a base salary range of $114,800 to $191,800, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
