The Cloud Access Gateways (CAG) team at Amazon is seeking a Software Dev Engineer II to join their Traffic Engineering division. The team's infrastructure processes tens of millions of requests per minute through three key pillars: OPF (Internet Ingress Gateway and reverse proxy), Cross-Region Access Gateways, and Cloud Access Builder Experience.
The position focuses on OPF, which manages the critical software layer handling all web traffic from the public Internet. You'll be responsible for building high-performance solutions that handle networking, data processing, and security at Amazon scale. As an SDE II, you'll work on modernizing Amazon's Internet ingress, DNS, URL, and Domain Redirects portfolio.
