The New Products team plays a crucial role in developing eeroOS, our Linux-based operating system that powers all eero hardware. As a Software Dev Engineer on this team, you'll be working with cutting-edge technology to create comprehensive solutions for both wireless and wired connectivity needs.

The role combines the dynamic environment of a startup with the stability and resources of Amazon. You'll be developing applications and features using languages like C, Golang, Shell, Rust, and Python, while working closely with cross-functional teams including hardware, manufacturing, and operations. Your responsibilities will include system architecture, feature development, and mentoring junior engineers.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $151,300 to $261,500 based on location, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. You'll be part of a team that's shaping the future of connected homes, working on everything from mesh routers to high-performance wired networking devices.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers who want to make a significant impact in the smart home technology space. You'll be working on challenging technical problems, leading design reviews, and ensuring the continuous improvement of eeroOS. The role requires strong technical leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.

The team culture emphasizes innovation, technical excellence, and customer focus. You'll be working in either Los Gatos or San Francisco, CA, contributing to products that directly impact how people experience connectivity in their homes.
