Description For Software Dev Engineer, S3 Express One Zone

Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join their S3 Express One Zone team. This role focuses on developing next-generation distributed storage solutions that handle vast arrays of S3 use cases with performance as the central theme. The position involves working with Rust programming language to build highly scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure.

The team is part of S3 Express, a new zonal object storage class built for SSD-based Machine Learning and Data Lake workloads, providing single-digit-millisecond latency storage for customers. You'll be working on pioneering techniques in storage & computing, allowing developers to reliably store their data on Amazon's proven computing infrastructure.
