Software Developer (12 month Fixed Term Contract), Global Operational Excellence

Join Amazon's Global Operational Excellence (GOX) team as a Software Developer on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. GOX develops Operational Excellence capabilities and drives Amazon's growth across the Supply Chain. As an OPS DEA SDE, you'll work on Machine Learning products and tool development, including frontend work, while collaborating with Amazon Transportation Services, Amazon Logistics, and Global transportation services. The role involves working with big data, building end-to-end solutions, and developing insightful analysis. You'll be part of the Speed and Service Programs team within EU STEP, focusing on delivery speed, accuracy, and service optimization. The position offers exposure to various functions including Operations, Finance, Technology, and Change management, while working in a team that regularly delivers well-tested solutions. This role requires strong technical skills, ability to work independently, and excellent communication abilities to maintain relationships with operations customers and team members. The position can be located in any Amazon site or office across EU/UK, offering flexibility while contributing to critical customer metrics and operational excellence initiatives.
