Software Development Engineer

Join Amazon's India Consumer Business (ICB) Technology team as a Software Development Engineer in the India Accounting Engineering Team. This role focuses on building and scaling critical financial systems for Amazon's rapidly growing Indian marketplace. You'll work on developing platforms that automate and simplify the booking of Financial/Accounting events across Amazon India and Emerging Markets.

The team is responsible for creating configuration-driven, self-service capable systems that handle millions of daily transactions and ensure accurate financial reporting in one of the most complex regulatory environments. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies including AWS and EC2, building highly scalable solutions that operate across multiple geographies.

As an engineer, you'll collaborate with high-performing team members and interface with various departments including Fulfillment Services, Fees, Taxes, Retail Systems, Marketplace Systems, and Financial Systems. The role offers exposure to a multi-billion dollar business with significant growth potential in a trillion-dollar market.
