Software Development Engineer, AFT - Inventory Data Authority

Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) powers the physical engine at the heart of Amazon, building and operating software, hardware, and processes that run the global network of fulfillment centers. The Inventory Data Authority team is responsible for managing a critical inventory management system that:

• Tracks billions of inventory units across global fulfillment centers
• Routes products to optimal locations based on space, demand and buying patterns
• Monitors item states and locations
• Manages inventory availability for the Amazon website
• Handles order fulfillment tracking and customer shipment processes
• Monitors discrepancies between virtual and physical states
• Tracks costs for inventory transactions in real-time

As a Software Development Engineer, you will:
